This liver disease that leads to inflammation of the liver and jaundice is preventable through vaccination and good personal hygience. It is important that your staff knows exactly what they need to do in order to prevent it from spreading in your restaurant.
The ServSafe® Food Manager and Foodhandler class both cover a section on good personal hygiene but it is important to consistently remind staff of those good practices and set an example for them.
