On the Saturday before Mother's Day, four restaurants got their health inspection. Many restaurants arent aware that they can even get a health inspection on the weekend but these restaurants learned that this isnt true.
Oceans Seafood & Lounge - 87 Main Floor / 99 Upstairs
Violations include -
Main floors - Observed black mold-like build up at the chute of the soda dispenser at the bar. Food contact surface shall be clean and sanitized. Advised PIC to clean the chute of the soda dispenser.
Main Floor - Observed failure to cold hold cheese and bacon at 41 degrees inside the reach in cooler at the main kitchen. TCS foods shall be cold held at 41 degrees. Advised PIC to discard food. (Imagine getting deducted for meeting the temperature requirements!)
Upstairs - Observed several unnecessary items at the bar. Food service facility shall be free of unnecessary items. Advised PIC to eliminate all those items.

Eleven45 Lounge - 81
Violations include -
Observed black mold-like marks in a cutting at the main kitchen. Observed black slimy build up under the chute of the soda dispenser at the bar. Food contact surfaces shall be clean and sanitized. Advised PIC to ensure that the cutting board is replaced and the soda dispenser cleaned frequently.
Observed failure to cold hold several TCS food at 41 degrees in various cold holding units in the Kitchen. TCS foods shall be cold held at 41 degrees or below. Advised PIC to discard food.
Observed failure to date mark pasta cooked from previous day. Food prepared on site for storage shall be properly date mark. Advised PIC to discard food.
Observed several unnecessary items in the main kitchen area. Food service facilities shall be free of unwanted items to prevent pest harborage. Advise PIC to remove all unwanted items.
Revel - 96
Observed failure to provide paper towels at the hand sink station at the main kitchen. Hand sinks shall be provided with paper towels or other means of hand drying. Advised PIC to provide paper towels.
Saltyard Restaurant - 91
Observed utensils stored inside the handsink at the main kitchen. Handsinks shall b e used for hand washing only. Advised PIC to move the utensils out of the sink.
Observed failure to cover lamb inside the cooler under the prep top. Food in storage shall be prevented from environmental contamination. Advised PIC to cover the lamb.
Observed bottoms of pans sitting on top of ready to eat food items on the prep top cooler. Advised PIC to discard food. Observed failure to cover ice at the bar. Advised PIC to cover ice.
Observed failure to properly store in use utensils. Utensils were stored in a hot water at 100 degrees.
